The summer of 2013 was a busy one for OCI Group. Words could not ring more true for OCI Group’s Managing Partner, H. Analco González. On top of his work at OCI Group, his volunteerism, and being an active Tío (Uncle) to his two nephews, he has now added “Professor González” to his repertoire. In the Spring, Analco was invited on as faculty at Our Lady of the Lake University’s (OLLU) School of Business and Leadership. He began teaching Legal Environment and Concepts of Business I in the Summer and Fall 2013 sessions and has since also been asked to additionally teach Legal Landscape of Non-Profits in 2014.
“As an alumnus of the School of Business who was asked by some of my own graduate Professors, I was honored to join the faculty. To become colleagues with some of my very own professors is the biggest compliment.” Analco received his MBA from OLLU while concurrently serving as the founder and Director of the OLLU-NHI Leadership Service Center in the mid 2000’s.
“El Profesor” is teaching courses to Undergraduate and Graduate Students in the School of Business. “I try and make my courses applicable to future, and in my graduate student’s cases, current business leaders and entrepreneur’s lives. I want it to be exciting for them while also making it pertinent to their goals.
Analco has also brought in other members of OCI Group to guest lecture for his courses. “It’s a way for my students to gain different perspectives in actual business expertise and its application.” Through Analco and his relationship with OLLU, OCI Group is proud to participate in the lives of future (social) entrepreneurs.
OLLU’s School of Business and Leadership provides a unique business education with a curriculum that includes the latest developments in global business using advanced technology within societal and ethical considerations. Students have the opportunity to learn from business-experienced faculty and executive partners with local enterprises.
